You probably have a spice at home that can help improve bone health: cinnamon. It is full of nutrients that can be quite beneficial. However, it should be consumed naturally and not in supplements, warns a dietician.
The 'website' Health Digest cites Harvard Health and reveals some benefits of this spice. It is rich in potassium, calcium, vitamin A and K. Potassium helps maintain bone density and reduce calcium loss.

It is important to prevent bone weakening and helps combat diseases such as osteoporosis. It is always important to be consumed naturally, ground or in stick, as is the case with infusions, and not in supplements.
"My concern is about the quality of the supplement and also the effect, since it can cause a decrease in the intestinal lining. Consuming this ground spice spreads the particles with other foods, which can be better tolerated in the gastrointestinal tract", explains dietician Christine Gerbstadt, in a statement to Everyday Health.
