Palmeiras scores at 90+6' and Abel smiles: "A comeback of the love team"

Palmeiras visited and defeated, in the early hours of Wednesday to Thursday, Independiente del Valle, by 2-3, in a game 'not suitable for the faint of heart', in which the Brazilian club was at a disadvantage on the scoreboard until... 81 minutes.

Lázaro restored equality, at the Centenário Stadium, in Montevideo, and Luis Guilherme scored, six minutes after 90, the goal that sentenced the final result, in the clash of the third round of the group stage of the Copa Libertadores. After the final whistle, Portuguese coach Abel Ferreira did not hide his joy.

"It is a team that only stops fighting when it ends. I am very happy, it was a victory of 'we are all one', of the NSP [Health and Performance Center], of the psychologist, of the nutritionists, of the president, who does not let us lack anything...", he began by saying.

"We stayed in an extraordinary hotel, we have everything of the best. The club provides us with that. We have to enter the field and, all together, strive for the result", he continued, in statements reproduced by the canary portal Globoesporte.

"It was a victory for the comeback team, for the love team. It is a great pride to be able to be together with this group and experience these emotions. It's not the first time, but I'll hardly experience this anywhere else", he added.
