Portuguese international scored twice in Manchester United's win over Sheffield United.

Manchester United hosted and beat Sheffield United this Wednesday, by 4-2, in a 'heart-stopping' match, in which Bruno Fernandes was a leading figure, having scored two goals, at 61 (in a penalty kick) and at 81 minutes.

After the final whistle, at Old Trafford, the coach of the red devils, Erik ten Hag, did not spare any compliments to the Portuguese international, who is in a 'devastating' moment of form, since, after doing the math, he already has six goals and two assists in the last five games in all competitions.

"He is in very good shape. I think that when we put him in the right position, he finds the right places. When he is in that position, he makes the right decisions", he began by stating, in statements reproduced by the British newspaper Mirror.

"He manages to create a lot, score goals, make assists and participate in key actions. So we are very happy with his performance. He showed his leadership, but also energy, with transitions to both sides", he continued.

"It is very important. He tries to encourage the team. He is very well, and we are very pleased with the performances and with his attitude", completed the Dutch coach.
