Wolverhampton lost at home at Molineux to Bournemouth this Wednesday. It was a duel between teams with the same ambition, which is to stay up.
A solitary goal from Semenyo, in the 37th minute, was enough to differentiate between the two teams. The forward appeared right in the heart of the area to score the goal.
It was a very unlucky game for Wolves, as they had two goals disallowed. The first, in the 65th minute, with Hwang Hee Chan being the target. Already at 90+9', another disallowed goal this time to Max Kilman.
Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez was also sent off. Thus, the cherries overtake Wolves with 45 points, while O'Neill's team has 43 in 12th place.
