Wolverhampton were defeated at home to West Ham, 1-2, this Saturday, in a match that was marked by the controversial goal disallowed to Max Kilman, nine minutes into added time, which would have given the 'Portuguese armada' a draw.

VAR deemed that Tawanda Chirewa, who was in an offside position, obstructed the view of the opposing goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski, and so called the head referee, Tony Harrington, to the monitor to review the move, which he ended up disallowing. After the final whistle, the coach, Gary O'Neil, didn't hide his revolt.

"My view, David Moyes' view and Fabianski's view is that it is a scandalous decision. Horrendous. I don't understand it. I can't think of an explanation, to be honest", he shot, in the quick interview area of British television station Sky Sports.

"It's one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. It's a terrible decision, because the only way he can influence the goalkeeper is if he influences the way he moves, and he doesn't", he continued.

"It doesn't influence his vision, because if you look at the side angle, Fabianski can clearly see the ball over Tawanda's head", completed the Wolves coach.
