Nutritionist points out the foods to blame for a bloated belly
To end abdominal bloating and avoid intestinal gas, you should moderate the consumption of some foods. The nutritionist Núria Nunes says which ones.

We know that the feeling of a swollen belly can cause discomfort. The most common cause is the accumulation of intestinal gases and, in women, it can also be associated with menstruation.
In the first case, "it is important to adopt a diet that promotes good bowel function", explains the nutritionist Núria Nunes, in a publication shared on the social network Instagram. The ideal is to favor a diet rich in insoluble fibers, which help eliminate harmful substances from our body. "In the second case, it is also important to try to eliminate excess fluids", she also says.

In addition to moderating the consumption of some foods, you should also chew them very well, "slowly and without haste", and avoid liquids during meals.
See the list of foods to avoid:
- Fruits like pear, mango, apple and watermelon;
- Broccoli;
- Cauliflower;
- Beans;
- Garlic;
- Onion;
- Milk and dairy products;
- Wheat-based foods (gluten);
- Chewing gum.
