After having started winning in the NBA championship qualifying playoffs, by 114-94, the Boston Celtics were surprised in the early hours of Wednesday to Thursday and were defeated by the Miami Heat, by 101-111.

A match in which the coach, Joe Mazzulla, chose to give up the Portuguese international Neemias Queta, placing all his hopes in Jaylen Brown, who, despite having scored 33 points and eight rebounds, was not enough to avoid the defeat at the TD Garden, in the US state of Massachusetts.

On the other side of the 'barricade', Tyler Herro was particularly 'inspired', with 24 points and 14 assists, having counted on the precious help of Caleb Martin and Bam Adebayo, who each scored 21 points.

All things considered, everything is tied in the round of 16. The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will face each other again next Saturday, starting at 11:00 pm (mainland Portugal time), this time at the American Airlines Arena in Florida.
