Real Madrid took a giant step towards winning the Spanish league title on Sunday, by winning the 'El Clásico' against Barcelona (3-2), with a comeback in stoppage time leaving the 'merengues' with an 11-point advantage over the team of the Portuguese players João Félix and João Cancelo. With João Cancelo in the starting eleven, the Catalans started well and, with half a dozen minutes played, they scored the first goal of the match, with a precise header from Christensen, followed by the goal of the 'merengues' in their first approach, in the 18th minute, with a penalty converted by Vinícius. Before half-time, the Catalans celebrated another goal, but Yamal's move would end up being disallowed by VAR, with no further changes to the scoreboard. In the second half, João Félix came on in the 64th minute, as did Fermín López and Ferran Torres, and it was the latter who put Barcelona back in front in the 69th minute. However, in a 'stop and response' Clásico, Lucas would end up benefiting from Vinícius' pass to make it 2-2 in the 73rd minute. At a time when the goal could have fallen to either side, the Santiago Bernabéu team - pushed by their fans - reached 3-2 in stoppage time, through Bellingham, in the 90+1', being decisive for Real Madrid to be able to order the championship sashes, with an 11-point advantage over their rivals in the last six matchdays, considering the 81 points of the 'merengues' and the 70 of the Catalans. Preview Real Madrid and Barcelona will star in the scorching 'El Clásico' this Sunday, at the Santiago Bernabéu, in a game with a strong impact on the Spanish league title. Separated by eight points, the 'merengues' remain on the throne of La Liga and seek to increase the advantage to 11 points, with six more matchdays to play, and such a scenario would practically end the doubts in that fight. Even so, the Catalans have only two more points than Girona, so the team of João Cancelo and João Félix will also have that in mind. The game is scheduled to start at 8 pm (mainland Portugal time) this Sunday, and you can follow the incidents of the match live on Desporto ao Minuto.
