Salah rescues Liverpool at Old Trafford and leaves the Premier League red hot

Liverpool could only manage a draw in their visit to Manchester United (2-2), on Sunday afternoon, in a match of the 32nd round of the Premier League. The Red Devils went into the break losing, managed to turn the score around in the second half, but Mohamed Salah managed to rescue a point in the final stretch of the match, leaving the title fight... red hot.

Luis Díaz, at 23 minutes, opened the scoring at Old Trafford, thanks to an acrobatic kick in the middle of the penalty area and put Liverpool in the lead.

In the second half, the reaction of Bruno Fernandes' team, Diogo Dalot and company, emerged, with the United captain restoring equality at 50 minutes, with a shot... from midfield!

United got going and reached the second goal, again with a high artistic note, this time by the youngster Kobbie Mainoo (67'). The turnaround was thus complete, but... Liverpool would still come to equalize.

In a penalty committed by Bissaka, which promises to be the talk of the town, Mohamed Salah (84') did not forgive in the duel with Onana and returned the draw to the scoreboard, setting the final result at Old Trafford.

All things considered, Liverpool reaches 71 points, the same as... Arsenal, who are in the lead. In third place is Manchester City, the defending champion, with one point less.
