9-Year-Old Boy Wins International Competition for Imitating... Seagulls

A British boy has won an international competition after being crowned the best in the world at imitating a seagull.
Cooper, from Chesterfield, started mimicking the birds from a young age after being bitten by one while eating a tuna sandwich on the beach, The Mirror reports.
Cooper's mum said his talent initially annoyed her until she realised he had a skill.
The nine-year-old travelled to Belgium to compete in the European Seagull Championships on Sunday and was victorious.
“I think seagulls are funny and I like the noises they make. They can be a bit scary sometimes and I’m always a bit worried about eating my chips on the beach,” said the youngster, who has been likened to Spiderman, who became a superhero after being bitten by a spider.
The competition, which saw entrants of all ages from across the world, aims to raise awareness of the conservation of seabirds.
