Benfica and Sporting do not hesitate after derbies and dispute the throne "neck and neck"

After three consecutive derbies with results for all tastes, the women's football teams of Benfica and Sporting entered the field at the same time, this Saturday, winning their respective matches against Lank Vilaverdense (4-0) and Marítimo (0-7), so the eagles remain in the lead with a two-point advantage.

Filipa Patão's team started better and, at half-time, they were already winning by two goals, with a brace by Kika Nazareth, at 11 and 41 minutes. In the second half, Benfica reached the third at 64 minutes, with a precise shot by Ana Seiça, followed by the final 4-0 in the discounts, through Carole Costa.

The lion emblem went to half-time winning by three goals, through Galabadaarachchi (5'), Fátima Dutra (40') and Olívia Smith (44'), ending up scoring another three in the first 15 minutes of the second half, in the brace by Olívia Smith (49'), Joana Martins (g.p. 56') and Diana Silva 59'). The final 0-7 appeared at 80 minutes, through Maiara Niehues.

With these results, Benfica is the leader with 50 points and Sporting follows right behind, with 48, having shortened distances with the 3-1 victory, when there are only two more rounds to play.
