The game between SC Vista Alegre and AD Valonguense, registered on Sunday, of the 1st division of the Aveiro District Football Association, did not reach the end after a fan of the home team invaded the pitch to attack the visiting goalkeeper João Moutela.

The moment happened 10 minutes before the final whistle and led the referee to decree the end of the game, also because the attacked player left on a stretcher and had to be transported to the hospital, according to the local newspaper Notícias de Águeda.

Moreover, the same newspaper also has images of the moment of the aggression, which still show the player being assisted on the pitch.

It should be noted that SC Vista Alegre is in the lead of the championship, while AD Valonguense is in the fifth position of the league table.
