André Villas-Boas presented his electoral program on Wednesday for the election that will decide the presidency of FC Porto on April 27, in a document that ends with a message to Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.

The candidate states that, despite having his eyes set "on the future", he cannot "forget the figures that shaped" the past of the blue and white emblem, including the current president, who "has been the guiding light" for "more than four decades". However, he stresses that the time has come to 'turn the needles'.

"His tireless dedication, unparalleled vision and unwavering love for the club paved the way for unparalleled achievements, both on and off the pitch. His legacy is eternal, and his name will forever echo in the corridors of our Estádio do Dragão", he said.

"To Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, we express our deepest gratitude. The marks of his steps created a path of excellence that we will always value and seek to honor. As in all stories, chapters come to an end to make way for new beginnings," he continues.

"The winds of change are blowing, and it is time to embark on a new journey, with new visions, aspirations and dreams. The dawn of a new era for FC Porto calls for us, and together, we will write the next pages of the illustrious history of our Club", he adds.
