Liga Portugal announced, in the form of a statement issued via official platforms at the beginning of the afternoon this Tuesday, that Nenê was elected the best forward to play in the second tier of national football... for the fourth consecutive month.
The 40-year-old player sees, in this way, recognized what was a 'full throttle' March, in which he helped AVS to add two victories (against Penafiel, by 0-1, and Feirense, by 1-0), a draw (against Oliveirense) and a defeat (against Santa Clara, by 1-2), with three goals scored in four matches.
The Brazilian collected 37.04% of the votes from the coaches who are currently playing in the II League, which allowed him to overcome the competition from Rui Fonte, from Paços de Ferreira (with 12.59%), and Lucas Gabriel, from Mafra (with 9.63%).
In the remaining trophies dedicated to the past month, Domen Gril, from Académico de Viseu, was elected the best goalkeeper, André Almeida, from the same team, the best defender, and Klismahn, from Santa Clara, the best midfielder.
