Another suspect linked to Moscow attack detained. There are already 12

A man has been detained on suspicion of complicity in the attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Moscow, Russia.
Dzhumokhon Kurbonov, a citizen of Tajikistan, is accused of providing the attackers with communications and financing, the Moscow City Courts Telegram channel said in a post, according to the Associated Press.
Kurbonov will be held in custody until May 22, while the investigation and trial continue, the Basmanny District Court in Moscow ruled.
The attack in March was carried out by several gunmen at the Crocus City Hall, a concert venue in Krasnogorsk, just outside the Russian capital, and left 143 people dead.
Twelve suspects have now been detained in connection with the case, including four alleged perpetrators of the attack who are accused of “terrorism,” a crime punishable by life in prison in Russia, according to the state-run RIA Novosti news agency.
The court ordered that those men, all of whom have been identified in Russian media as citizens of Tajikistan, should also be held in custody until May 22.
While a faction of the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the massacre, Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin, have repeatedly alleged without providing evidence that Ukraine and the West played a role in the attack.
Ukraine has denied involvement, and its officials say Moscow is promoting the claim as a pretext to escalate its own fighting.
