FC Porto midfielder offered to Bayern Munich, they assure in Germany

Alan Varela gathers interested parties. According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, who anticipated the transfer of Harry Kane last year, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder from FC Porto was offered to Bayern Munich.

The same journalist says that the Bavarian club is monitoring the player's development. He is one of several players who are being considered for that position.

Plettenberg concludes by saying that Varela is interesting for Bayern, but he is not a top target at the moment.

The Argentine player, who arrived from Boca Juniors in the summer, has a valid contract with FC Porto until 2028. He has played 39 games this season, being one of the most used players by Sérgio Conceição this season. He cost eight million in the summer.
