From 'heaven to hell'. Tomás Araújo leaves Benfica in Marseille
The central defender suffered a sprain in his right ankle in the triumph over Moreirense.

Tomás Araújo is certainly out of the list of players called up by Roger Schmidt for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, against Marseille, which is scheduled for 8 pm (mainland Portugal time) next Thursday.
According to information provided on Tuesday by the newspaper A Bola, the Portuguese U21 international was diagnosed with a sprain in his right ankle, which is why he was replaced at half-time in last Sunday's match against Moreirense, which Benfica won 3-0.
A bittersweet night for the central defender, as in the space of a few minutes he scored his first goal for the encarnados' first team and suffered the injury that will prevent him from making his debut in the second biggest continental club competition.
It remains to be seen whether the 21-year-old will be the only Águias player out for the trip to the Orange Vélodrome, or whether he will be joined by Juan Bernat, who is still looking for his best form after undergoing surgery.
