With this result, the island team drew for the second time in a row, occupying the fourth position, with 50 points and five points behind Nacional, who defeated AVS, 2-1, and who occupy the play-off spot for promotion.

The Torres Vedras team, on the other hand, scored again after four consecutive defeats, remaining in seventh place, with 40 points.

The first minutes were of great intensity, with both teams trying to open the scoring. At 23, Higor Platiny came close, but Vágner's reflexes were worth it.

At 36, it was again the Torreense goalkeeper who prevented the direct free kick goal from Bruno Xadas.

The beginning of the second half was played at an intense pace, just like the beginning of the game, but this time it was Amir Abedzadeh who prevented, in double dose, the goals from João Afonso and Benny, the latter still with a cut from a 'maritimista' defender on the goal line.

Marítimo responded immediately, with Lucas Silva coming very close to scoring after an excellent offensive combination on the left of the attack of the team led by Fábio Pereira.

In the final minutes, there was a greater offensive flow from Marítimo, who, at 83 minutes, and following a free kick, saw Higor Platiny head the ball to the left post of Vágner's goal.

However, the 'nil' remained until the final whistle, in a result that matches what happened during the match.
