Even though he is in the 'eye of the storm', the result of a season below expectations, with 21 wins, 17 losses and four draws after 42 official matches, Erik ten Hag may actually remain in charge of Manchester United.

That's because, according to this Saturday's edition of the British newspaper iNews, the red devils' leaders are finding it very difficult to find someone who is interested in taking over the reins of the squad where the Portuguese internationals Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot play.

The club based in Old Trafford will have already approached Gareth Southgate and Julian Nagelsmann. However, both will have made it known that they have no intention of leaving the bench of England and Germany, respectively.

Zinédine Zidane, who has been free since 2021, when he left Real Madrid, will also be reluctant to accept a possible invitation, while Roberto de Zerbi, from Brighton, will be closer to replacing Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.

Rúben Amorim, from Sporting, will also be referenced for the position, but he will hardly accept, also because, as the publication points out, he is one of Liverpool's favorite targets to face the post-Jurgen Klopp, next season.
