"[...] We will look for ways to overcome illegal obstacles, unfair competition and illegal actions," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press conference.

Peskov denounced "attempts to squeeze Russia out of energy markets," stressing that rising prices are primarily in the interests of the United States "and other countries."

Asked about the possibility of a ban on the transfer of Russian LNG (liquefied natural gas) from one ship to another during transportation on the high seas, the Russian spokesman said he did not want to anticipate new sanctions, although he stressed that Russia does not accept them "under any circumstances."

The West has already imposed 13 packages of sanctions on Russia, which continues to export gas and LNG, redirecting its supplies.

Russia wants to increase its gas exports (via pipelines) by 11% this year and LNG by 14%.
