AC Milan are preparing to face Juventus this Saturday, after the disappointment of seeing Inter become Italian champions after the Milan derby (1-2) last Monday, and they will have a 'new' captain on the pitch.

Stefano Pioli guaranteed, in the press conference this Friday, that Rafael Leão will be the leader on the pitch in the match against the Turin emblem, due to the expulsions of Theo Hernández and Davide Calabria.

"Rafael Leão has great abilities and he is experiencing all this, just like his teammates and all of us. Losing the derby and seeing our rivals celebrating hurt us a lot. We just have to react in the next matches. He will take on the role of captain this Saturday", he began by saying in statements quoted in the newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We can't stop because of these disappointments. We must show pride and solidarity until the end to our fans. The goal is to win all the matches and tomorrow we will have to fight as if it were the last one. I want a focused AC Milan in order to overcome an opponent that has been doing well, we have to defend second place, that is our duty.”, he added.
