After the troubled reception to Estoril Praia, marked by clashes between fans from Trás-os-Montes and players from the Estoril team, Desportivo de Chaves will face Casa Pia on Saturday, in a "very important" duel for the permanence in the main echelon of Portuguese football.

"It is, indeed, a very important match. I feel that the team has had interesting results away from home, we have been more stable. Our problem is well identified, the matches we have failed, at home, against direct opponents, and this match is, once again, against an opponent that is better than us, but is also not comfortable", stressed Moreno, in the preview conference for the match.

The coach guaranteed that the Flavienses emblem cannot "escape" the responsibility and pressure imposed by the championship, but rather "compete and understand the details" that have "taken away points" in order to win the visit to Rio Maior.

"We go with the responsibility that has always brought us here and wanting to win the match. That, tomorrow [Saturday], these details can be on our side and that to the 23 points we already have, we can add three more to make 26", he reiterated.

Moreno was referring to the fact that the team has not been able to hold on to the advantage in the scoreboard in the last matches played in the Chaves municipal stadium, such as the receptions to Portimonense and Estoril Praia, ensuring that the week of work has been spent on "making the players understand" why these matches ended the way they did.

"It happened in many matches that we conceded set-piece goals [when the team was in the lead] and then the team is, clearly, very restless. These are the details that have taken a lot away from the match and have taken points away from us. In addition to the work on the field, we have also analysed videos, we have done all that, talked, not distrusting the athletes for the match, but making them understand that this makes a difference in winning three points, one point or in the defeat, which is what has been happening", he reiterated.

For the visit to Casa Pia, Moreno will not be able to count on the injured Júnior Pius, Guima and Cafú Phete.

Questioned about the impact that the clashes that occurred in the reception to Estoril Praia had on the work group, the coach did not elaborate on comments, stating, however, that the squad remained "balanced" throughout the last week.

"I felt the team very balanced and I repeat what I said at the end of the match: it is not good for Desportivo de Chaves, it is not good for Estoril Praia, it is not good for Portuguese football, but I will not be the one to point fingers and say that this or that one is responsible. We are all responsible for what happened, but as for what I can control, which is the work group, I felt them very balanced", he commented.

Desportivo de Chaves, 17th and second to last classified, with 23 points, will visit Casa Pia, in ninth, with 32, on Saturday, at 3:30 pm, at the Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior, in a match refereed by João Gonçalves, from the Porto Football Association.
