Clash in Turkey: Sergio Oliveira 'dropped' after arguing with coach

Sérgio Oliveira has reportedly been 'crossed out' by Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk after an argument between the two, reveals Fanatik this Thursday. The Portuguese international was even kept away from his teammates, but he has returned to training with the squad, although with no prospects of playing again this season.

The same Turkish newspaper explains that Sérgio Oliveira did not apologize for what happened and that Galatasaray only reinstated him in the squad to avoid being targeted by any sanctions by FIFA:

With an annual contract of almost three million euros, Galatasaray's intention will be to sell the former FC Porto player next summer, when the transfer market reopens.

It should be noted that the 31-year-old Portuguese player has not played since February 29, thus accumulating a total of six goals in 57 games for the Istanbul emblem after two seasons.
