Ten Hag faces (big) pay cut at Manchester United
Contract foresees a 25% reduction, if not qualifying for the Champions League.

Manchester United host Sheffield United on Wednesday knowing that anything other than a win will surely end their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
Such an outcome would prove costly – literally – for Erik ten Hag, whose contract, which runs until June 2025, includes a 25 per cent pay cut should he fail to guide United back into Europe's elite club competition, according to ESPN.
The Dutchman currently earns in the region of £9million a year, but that figure would drop to £6.75m should United fail to qualify for the 2024-25 Champions League.
The report adds that similar clauses are included in the contracts of many of United's first-team players, meaning Portugal internationals Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot would also be affected.
