Analysis: It was a great game, with three great teams. We provided a great show. Two teams that showed they really wanted to reach the final. We entered with that will and were happy, by finishing the first situation we had. We started winning, 1-0. From then on, we controlled the game. The game was totally controlled, we even are the team with the most shots. We needed to have better control of the game. How did FC Porto reach the tie goal? It's a free kick in our favor in which we suffered a transition. FC Porto ties, and there was a moment in which the team got a bit nervous, and FC Porto passes us in the score. The team was never disconnected from the game. We ended the first half with an opportunity to make it 2-2. In the second half, we had more possession of the ball, more shots, a tremendous offensive flow. We needed to improve the efficiency, with more serenity to be closer to reaching the goal. If we had made it 2-2, I have no doubt that it would make FC Porto uneasy and give us a great boost. We weren't able to, but we have to be proud of our path and the game we played. We found solutions again, we even deserved to be more in the game until the end, to create a greater expectation, but we have to be proud. A dream is over. This year, we have no chance of reaching the Cup final, but there are things we can conquer. We have to be able to overcome this disappointment and look at what we can still conquer. We can make history for the club.

Changes in the attack: If I said we wanted to get here and win, because we were behind in the tie, I thought I should give the team a sign, having a forward to create some discomfort and attract FC Porto's center forwards, provoking spaces. It was well achieved, we entered very well, we created this surprise factor for FC Porto. We were able to manipulate the game, we went to 5x3x2 to control the inside space. We had a fantastic approach at the strategy level, to always be in the game. Unfortunately, we didn't reach 2-2. If we had, we would enter the game and create instability in FC Porto. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach the final. We have to congratulate FC Porto.

Consequences in the team's motivation: I won't deny that, today, we are frustrated and sad. We cherished this dream of reaching the final. We could have gotten there, because it was the combination of two totally balanced games, decided by details. This group has a champion's mentality, it knows we have five games to conquer and we can make history for this club. We regret not having been able to get there, because life is made of sadness, joy, frustrations. We have to focus on what we can conquer.
