Portuguese will be spoken in the final four of the Champions League of roller hockey. After Óquei de Barcelos eliminated Benfica, FC Porto, Sporting and Oliveirense qualified for the phase of this competition, which will take place at the Pavilhão Rosa Mota (Porto), on May 11th and 12th.

In the Palau Blaugrana, Barcelona's home, the lions lost (4-5), but they moved forward due to the 4-1 victory at the Pavilhão João Rocha.

Pau Bargalló scored the first goal from a free kick, but Matías Platero tied in the first half, in the rebound of a shot by Alessandro Verona. After a balanced match, the second half opened frenetically. Alabart managed to make it 2-1 in the first minute, but Sporting tied again through Rafa Bessa.

João Rodrigues (penalty) and Pau Bargalló (free kick) increased the advantage to 4-2, but Verona poured a bucket of cold water by making it 4-3. Alabart scored again and made it 5-3, which left the Catalans excited for the final minutes, but the Spanish player slipped in the last play of the match, allowing Ferran Font to score the isolated goal for the deserted goal.

At the Dragão Arena, the European champion Lodi was humiliated by FC Porto and lost 9-4. The Italians, who had lost 1-4 at home, opened the scoring by Lourenzo Giovannetti (5'). However, the northerners turned the match around with goals by Hélder Nunes and Rafa.

Lodi did not give up and operated a new turnaround thanks to accurate shots by Andrea Fantozzi and Davide Nadini. Still, Carlo di Benedetto tied before the break. And after a frenetic first half, the second did not disappoint.

Carlo di Benedetto scored again and Telmo Pinto also scored for the hosts to make it 5-3. Fantozzi still put the result at 5-4, but the Porto players crushed the Italians with four goals that closed the match. Gonçalo Alves, Mena, Carlo di Benedetto and Diogo Barata made the remaining accurate shots.

In Oliveira de Azeméis, Edu Bosch's team made a heart-wrenching effort and signed an incredible comeback to defeat Trissino. After the draw in Italy (4-4), Oliveirense won 8-5 against the Italian team.

At the break, the team coached by Tiago Sousa was winning 1-2 and at the opening of the second half increased to two goals advantage. The match seemed to be heading towards the visitors, but the strength of the Portuguese prevailed. Xavier Cardoso and Facundo Navarro helped the home team smile with a victory at the end of the match.
