Santa Clara Leader 'imitates' AVS SAD and loses at home to Paços de Ferreira

The leaders of the II League 'stumbled' this matchday. First, it was AVS SAD who lost, on Saturday, against Nacional, and rekindled the decisions for the podium. Now, this Sunday, it was Santa Clara who failed to beat Paços de Ferreira, with a 0-1 home defeat.
It was a very balanced game from both sides, without great chances of a goal. The truth is that Paços de Ferreira was closer to taking the three points.
The central defender Pedro Ganchas deflected the ball into the back of the net, following a set piece, but the referee called offside. With the replay, it is possible to see that the decision is correct.
Paços de Ferreira came to score the winning goal at the last gasp. At 88 minutes, the Brazilian forward took the ball, faced the Santa Clara goalkeeper, and finished coolly.
Party for the home fans and a slip by the leader, who is now three points ahead of the second-placed team. Paços continues in a very positive series of games, with 43 points, in fifth place.
