After five consecutive matchdays without a win, the bottom-placed Desportivo de Chaves will host Portimonense, the third-to-last ranked team, in Trás-os-Montes, in a match that coach Moreno considers extremely important for the goal of staying in the top tier of national football.

"We want a team that is identified, as it has been in recent games, if possible, playing better with the ball, with the same rigor without the ball that it has had, and that in the end we can have the three points with us because tomorrow's game [Sunday] is, really, very important, as will be the others or the necessary victories that we will need for the goal [of staying in the league]," the coach emphasized, in the press conference previewing the match.

Although he has passed this message on to the Flaviense squad, Moreno reiterated that the importance of winning against the Algarveans cannot cause an "exaggerated emotional burden" on the players, since this will affect their performance.

On the other side, the 'helmsman' expects an equally pressured opponent, believing that the key to the success of the transmontanos lies in the "lightness" that they must take to the field but, above all, in the "mental part, in the way the team can do what has been worked on and is asked for, without ever doubting the quality that the group has".

As for difficulties, Moreno stated that they will be the same for both teams, since the trip to the field of the champion Benfica (1-0), on the last matchday, "proved that there is balance in the championship".

"[It will be] A difficult game, it is a team with [tall players], with a very strong set piece moment, with midfielders who return with a lot of technical quality, with a good shot from outside the area, we have all that identified, but I am sure that Portimonense will also have difficulties with Desportivo de Chaves. We have to keep the team light, responsible, but light to make good decisions because that's the only way we can win," he stressed.

For this task, Moreno once again does not have the entire Flaviense squad at his disposal, since he will not be able to count on the suspended Hugo Souza and Rúben Ribeiro, nor on the injured Bruno Rodrigues and Sandro Cruz.

Although he has ruled out that the constant casualties cause him anxiety or concern, the coach from Guimarães admitted the importance of greater stability in the work group.

"I would prefer to have more stability in the preparation of the games, but that's me and all the coaches, because the dynamics are achieved that way, with that stability, and we never achieved it, either due to injury or suspension, it was never possible throughout the year, but I have also never heard the coach complain about absences here and it is not now that I am going to do it," he concluded.

Desportivo de Chaves will host Portimonense, on Sunday, at 3:30 pm, at the Estádio Municipal Engenheiro Manuel Branco Teixeira, in a match of the 28th round of the Portuguese I League, refereed by André Narciso, from the Setúbal association.
