You may have to pay for some Google searches
Adding Artificial Intelligence to the search engine wouldn't be free.

The Financial Times is reporting that Google is considering charging internet users a fee to use artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance their search results.
It is understood that the core Google search engine would remain free to use, but sources told the Financial Times that more prominent placement could be given to search results powered by AI features. Ads would continue to be part of the results, both in the free and paid-for versions.
Google already charges for some of its online services, but a fee for its core search product would be a first for the company.
