Germany. Four children seriously injured after roof collapses

Four children were seriously injured on Saturday after the roof of a sports center in southern Germany collapsed, police said.
German police received a report around 8:20 p.m. (local time) that four children, approximately 13 years old, had climbed onto the roof of a sports hall in Remshalden, located about 20 kilometers east of Stuttgart.
A spokesman for the Aalen Police Headquarters added that it appears the children fell about seven meters through a skylight in the roof while playing and were immediately airlifted to the hospital.
The operation required three rescue helicopters, two police patrols, 40 firefighters in seven vehicles and 13 ambulances.
Police are now investigating the circumstances of the incident.
