At least 34 people have been killed in the past 24 hours in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, according to local authorities controlled by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas.

"The Israeli occupation committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, in which 32 people were killed and 69 were injured," the Health Ministry said in its daily statement, which reported on the victims who were transferred to hospitals.

In addition to the 34,388 deaths, most of them women and children, there have been 77,437 injuries in the 204 days of war.

The Gaza Strip Health Ministry also indicated that there are victims under the rubble and on the roads, whose bodies cannot be recovered by emergency teams.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, among the dead counted in the last hours are six citizens who died in an Israeli air strike on the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

The Israeli army also reported that, in the last 24 hours, it attacked 25 alleged targets of Palestinian fighters in different parts of the Gaza Strip.

These attacks occurred while Hamas is studying the latest proposal that Israel presented to a group of Egyptian mediators to reach an agreement for a truce.
