Cinnamon can be a good ally against menstrual pain

If you want to put the medication aside when the menstrual cramps are stronger, a solution can be a very common spice, cinnamon.
"Cinnamon contains beneficial elements, including zinc, carbohydrates, proteins, iron and vitamins. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics that are extremely good for women's health", reveals Chanchal Sharma, an Ayurveda specialist, in statements to the 'website' HealthShots.

She also revealed two ways to use it against pain, in tea and also in food.
Cinnamon tea
Boil some cinnamon sticks in water and add some honey after removing them. You should drink several times before and during menstruation.
Add to food
It can be easily added to yogurts, 'smoothies' and some dishes.
