You Need to Eat More Folate-Rich Foods. Here Are the Uncomfortable Signs

Unfortunately, many people think of folate as a nutrient that is only essential during pregnancy, but in reality it is "important at all stages of life", warns Jenny Tschiesche, a nutritionist, quoted in The Independent.
She also explains that ideally most people should consume around 200 micrograms of folate daily through their diet. It is easily found in foods such as kale and spinach, chickpeas and black beans, as well as liver.

It is a very important vitamin and when you do not consume it in the recommended amounts, the body begins to manifest itself with unpleasant symptoms.
Signs that you are not getting enough folate:
- Tiredness;
- Depression and anxiety;
- Swollen tongue;
- Mouth sores;
- Growth problems;
- White hair;
- Taste difficulties.
