Isabela Cardinali was today, April 19th, talking to Júlia Pinheiro in the afternoon show of SIC, where she talked about her work in the circus, her entrance in 'Casa dos Segredos' and her short marriage with Pedro Moreira.
About this last subject, Isabela remembered that the marriage lasted only "one week" and added: "I don't believe it was the marriage in itself [that dictated the separation], I think we were intelligent, in fact".
Then, the influencer explained: "There was a disagreement in which we couldn't reach a consensus and we both wanted to follow our professional areas, which were being put in check because of our relationship".
Isabela said she was already living with Pedro when she felt the urge to go back to work in the circus, with her mother, and that was when the end of the relationship happened. "My mother and my family wanted to kill me, but if at that moment we weren't well, it wasn't worth prolonging something that in two or three years could be solved, which is not the case", she stressed, saying that reconciliation is not being considered by either of them.
Isabela and Pedro signed the divorce papers six months after the marriage and now they have joint custody of the dog Guess, which they had adopted together. "It's what makes us see each other and have contact, and that's good. Obviously I like to know how he is and how my ex-mother-in-law is, who was an important person to me", she reported.
Finally, Isabela assumed that she is happy with the decision to divorce and that it allowed her to find her "purpose". "If I had stayed with Pedro I wouldn't have realized and that would have hurt me over the years", she completed.
