Vítor Pereira cancels Jota and gets closer to the top 6 of Saudi Arabia

Al-Shabab claimed a new triumph in the Saudi Arabian championship on Friday, in the away match against (still champion) Al-Ittihad (1-3), leaving Vítor Pereira dreaming of the sixth place in the competition.

After a first half without goals, the team of the Portuguese coach took the lead at 48 minutes, through Diallo - with an assist by Carrasco -, followed by the equalizer scored by Hamdallah (58'). The truth is that, in the last ten minutes, Carlos Júnior (82'), ex-Santa Clara, and Al Juwayr (90+10') scored the goals that resulted in the final 1-3, in a game in which the Portuguese Jota, who played the 90 minutes, ended up being canceled by Vítor Pereira's team. With this result, Al-Ittihad falls to fifth place, with 50 points, while Al-Shabab rises to ninth position, with 38, two behind Al-Ettifaq and Al-Fateh, who share sixth place (40 points).
