Official: Benfica 'ties down' young prospect who has never played for another club
Rafael Quintas has already added 12 caps for the youth teams of the Portuguese national team.

Benfica announced this Thursday that they have reached an agreement with Rafael Quintas for the signing of his first professional contract, at a time when he is serving his 11th season as an eagle on his chest.
"It is very rewarding. I am very proud to sign this contract. Benfica believes in me, in my potential, and in my work", the young talent began by saying, in statements to BTV.
"During this period at Benfica, good and bad things have happened, but I feel that my evolution has been very good as a player and as a person. I would like to reach Benfica's senior team and make my debut at the Estádio da Luz", he added next.
It should be recalled that the 16-year-old midfielder has already made 12 international appearances for Portugal's youth teams, and in the current season, he has scored one goal in 27 games for the youth team.
