Xavi decides to stay at Barcelona. Only the official announcement is missing
About-face in the technical leadership of the Catalan club.

According to the Catalan newspapers Sport and Mundo Deportivo, Xavi Hernández will continue at Barça next season. Thus, it is confirmed that the Barça coach, who announced on January 27 that he was leaving the club, will finally stay.
After meeting with the sports director, Deco, in Sant Joan Despí, and later at the private home of the president, Joan Laporta, white smoke was reached. Xavi, who had said that he would only stay at the club if a series of conditions were met, ended up accepting the conditions established by the club.
The president, Joan Laporta, will make a statement to the official media on Thursday to confirm the departure of the coach, who, in principle, will remain at the club until the end of his contract, in 2025.
