The Disciplinary Council (CD) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) today opened a disciplinary proceeding against Boavista and Länk Vilaverdense, "regarding a possible failure to submit documentation related to budget execution control".

"Opening of disciplinary proceedings against Boavista Futebol Clube -- Futebol SAD, by decision of the Professional Section, on 16 April 2024, regarding possible failure to submit documentation related to budget execution control, following a communication from Liga Portugal", reads the statement released today.

In the same note, the CD reports the opening of similar disciplinary proceedings against Länk Vilaverdense, from the second tier of Portuguese football.

The two proceedings were sent on 17 April 2024 "to the Liga Portugal Committee of Instructors, with publicity excluded until the end of the investigation".
