"FC Porto has been a somewhat inconsistent team throughout the season, but the ideas and principles are always there. A dominant team, they keep the defensive line high and the wingers very open, being aggressive in the last third. They can change one or two nuances, but it changes very little. We come from a sequence of three games with direct opponents in which we did not concede any defeat and it is this commitment and focus that we have to take to the next games", he stressed, at a press conference.

The Lisbon team has shown defensive consistency in their matches, although the difficulties against a 'big' club are greater, with Gonçalo Santos saying that "there are no ideal moments" to face a team of the size of the 'dragons'.

"FC Porto is not having a good time in the I League, but it is always a team that dominates the game and creates a lot of danger. They put a lot of people in the last third and attack the areas. We have to be prepared to, with concentration and defensive intensity, shorten spaces and not let them think. Much of the game will go in that direction. We are calm in the league table and this tranquility will have to give us greater confidence and responsibility to maintain this place, or try to climb higher", he said.

In ninth position in the championship, but only five points above Portimonense, in 16th place, in the maintenance play-off, Casa Pia places the responsibility of the game "all on the other side", being a match where there is "a lot to gain and nothing to lose".

"Before the game, the odds are 50% for each team. We believe a lot in daily work. To be part of FC Porto's squad, the quality has to be there. Regardless of who plays, the principles are the same. Everyone knows the demand that 'mister' Sérgio Conceição places on the players, but Casa Pia's 'eleven' will also be prepared for the adversities that may occur", he assured.

The 'geese' will not be able to count on the punished Beni, and the injured Rafael Brito and Fernando Andrade, with Pablo Roberto still in doubt for the duel, while FC Porto will also have several forced absences and has footballers in doubt.

"We do not fight for greater goals for several reasons, but we believe in the squad we have. I try to give the players more responsibility in offensive movements and not to free them up so much.
