Anderlecht reject Sporting's first (and tearful) offer for Debast
The Lions have shown themselves willing to reach 20 million euros for the Belgian international.

Anderlecht will have rejected the first concrete proposal presented by Sporting with a view to acquiring Zeno Debast, a player identified as a priority for next season, given the potential departures of Gonçalo Inácio and/or Ousmane Diomande.
The news was reported on Monday by the Belgian newspaper La Dernière Heure, which revealed that the offer in question included an initial payment of more than 15 million euros, as well as bonuses that would bring the total investment to 18 or even 20 million euros.
Even so, the same publication adds, the management led by Frederico Varandas will have made it known that it has no intention of giving up on the 20-year-old central defender, so the feeling is one of optimism regarding a possible agreement.
All the more so because the Belgian international (who will also be on the agenda of clubs such as AC Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, West Ham, PSV and Ajax) ends his contract in just over a year, so the club risks losing him at 'zero cost'.
