Primoz Roglic took to social media on Sunday to reveal the state he was left in, following the heavy fall he suffered last Thursday, which led to the interruption of the Tour of the Basque Country.

"Memories of the third and fourth stages of Itzulia... Feeling a bit better! I wish everyone a speedy recovery. See you on the road", wrote the 34-year-old cyclist.

In addition to the Slovenian, it should be recalled, Remco Evenepoel and Jonas Vingegaard, other favourites to win the competition, also hit the ground, and were badly injured.
