Bruno Romão makes his debut in the Finnish championship with a dramatic triumph

After being eliminated in the Finnish Cup, Bruno Romão made his debut this Saturday in the best possible way in the country's top football tier, leading IFK Mariehamn to a dramatic 3-2 triumph over Ekenas IF.

Sebastian Dahlstrom and Tehe Olawale scored for the Portuguese coach's team, in the sixth and ninth minutes. However, on both occasions, Noah Lundstrom came into action to restore equality. It was then that, in the 85th minute, Oskari Sallinen scored, sealing the final result.

IFK Mariehamn thus adds the first three points of the season, which allows it to join the 'train' of the leaders, in the company of KuPS, SJK, VPS and IF Gnistan. Ekenas IF, on the other hand, remains at 'zero'.
