Stuttgart beat Dortmund and gain ground in the fight for the Champions League
Stuttgart won away to Borussia Dortmund today, 1-0, and remain in third place in the German football league, but now with the same number of points as the second-placed team, Bayern Munich, who were defeated on Heidenheim's ground.

Guinean forward Serhou Guirassy scored the only goal of the game on matchday 28 of the Bundesliga, in the 64th minute, giving the visitors three points, who now have 60 points and reinforced their 'candidacy' for a place in the next edition of the Champions League, since they have seven more points than Dortmund, precisely the first outside this qualification zone, in fifth.
Hours earlier, Bayer Leverkusen put themselves one win away from being crowned German champions for the first time, after reinforcing their lead, with a 1-0 win over Union Berlin, with a goal from Wirtz, in the 45+8 minute, from a penalty.
The 'pharmacists', who have never won the Bundesliga, are now 16 points ahead of second-placed Bayern Munich, with six rounds to go, so that, on the next matchday, they could confirm winning the title, if they win at home against Werder Bremen.
The defeat of the Bavarians, German champions in the last 11 seasons, contributed to this scenario, who added their second consecutive defeat in the competition, this time at the Heidenheim stronghold (3-2), after having been winning by 2-0.
