He causes a fire by losing control of a burn. He ended up being arrested

The National Republican Guard (GNR) arrested a 65-year-old man on suspicion of forest fire, on Monday, April 22, in the municipality of Vila do Conde.
In a statement sent today to Notícias ao Minuto, the GNR explains that they received an alert for a fire that originated in a "negligent" act.
After several police investigations, it was possible to ascertain that the suspect carried out an unauthorized burning in a forest area and that it got out of control, causing a fire that consumed the surrounding vegetation.
The Volunteer Firefighters of Vila do Conde were called to fight the fire and the man was arrested in flagrante delicto.
The detainee was constituted an arguido and presented to the Vila do Conde Judicial Court, for the application of coercive measures, which were not disclosed.
The GNR took advantage of the statement on this case to remind the population that burning and burning are the main causes of fires in Portugal and that their execution is prohibited "whenever there is a very high or maximum level of danger of rural fire, being dependent on authorization or prior communication in other periods.
To avoid accidents, the military recommends that those who burn follow the safety rules, are always accompanied and carry their cell phone with them.
