Man in custody after thefts worth 4 thousand euros in Maia
A 46-year-old man was on probation for "offenses of the same nature" that have now led him to be remanded in custody. He stole "well-known brand" equipment.

The National Republican Guard arrested a man for robbery on Thursday in the municipality of Maia, in the district of Porto.
According to a statement sent to Notícias ao Minuto, the arrest took place outside of flagrante delicto, following an investigation into a crime of robbery that occurred two months ago in the Maia metro.
The investigation has now identified the suspect and the authorities have issued an arrest warrant.
"During the course of the action, it was found that the suspect stole two mobile phones, a backpack with a computer and some peripherals inside, all from a reputable brand on the market, for an approximate value of four thousand euros", the note reads.
The suspect, 46, was on probation for "illicit acts of the same nature" and was arrested during the investigation. The man was then presented to the Maia Judicial Court and was given the measure of preventive detention.
