There are products that claim to do wonders, removing limescale and stains that you have in the bathroom, for example. However, you can opt for a natural solution, as revealed by the 'website' House Digest.
They mention that grapefruit is a great ally in cleaning. Like limes and lemons, it contains citric acid which makes it a bleaching agent. It also manages to give a fresh aroma, which is perfect for getting rid of bad odours.
Andrea Philips, a cleaning specialist from Airtasker, explains a simple way to use this fruit.
"Just cut the grapefruit in half, sprinkle with plenty of salt and rub. This should remove any limescale residue and stubborn stains", she says.
