Eating a healthy diet has a significant impact on your health and yes, your skin. With this in mind, Dave Reilly, a scientist quoted in Wales Online, advises including five specific foods in your diet to help reduce wrinkles and improve your skin health. Why? They boost collagen production.

Five foods that help reduce wrinkles (and improve your skin):
- Chicken. "Contains amino acids and minerals that help your body's collagen work more effectively";
- Egg whites. "Are particularly high in an amino acid called proline, an essential component of collagen";
- Berries. Are full of "vitamin C, which helps promote the production of collagen in the body";
- Garlic. Has "sulphur compounds, which are essential for the formation of collagen fibres and maintaining the integrity of skin tissue";
- Pulses. Are generally "rich in protein and essential amino acids, making them great for helping to produce collagen".
