But, calm down, you don't need to completely avoid snacks. However, you should always choose the right foods. For example, Gerard Hall, a fitness trainer and influencer, quoted in BestLife, advises three healthy snacks capable of actively supporting any goal of melting belly fat.
Snacks that are allies in the 'fight' against belly fat:
- Boiled eggs. He also recommends that you only eat the egg whites to 'kill' your hunger between meals. "Egg whites have almost no calories, but they fill you up";
- Cottage cheese. "It's a great snack to eat before bed because it's carbohydrate-free and provides a long-acting protein called casein";
- Natural peanut butter. "Two to three spoonfuls of natural peanut butter should be enough to stave off hunger until mealtime."
