Leipzig beats Borussia Dortmund and 'gives wings' to the millionaire dream

Leipzig hosted and beat Borussia Dortmund, by 4-1, in the early afternoon of this Saturday, in the 'headliner' match of the 31st round of the Bundesliga, which could prove to be fundamental in the race for the qualifying places for the Champions League.

The visitors were even the first to score, at the Red Bull Arena, after 20 minutes, through Jadon Sancho. However, the 'somersault' on the scoreboard materialized even before the whistle for the break, as a result of accurate shots by Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko.

In the second half, Lois Openda did it again, this time, assisting for the goal by Mohamed Simakan, who would end up leaving injured, just five minutes after scoring. At 80 minutes, Christoph Baumgartner sealed the final result.

With the math done, just three rounds from the end of this season, Leipzig is fourth place, with 62 points, five more than Borussia Dortmund, who will have to wait for a 'disaster' to still think about an overtaking.
