Gil Vicente drew with Arouca this Friday, 2-2, in Barcelos. A result that eases the accounts of the Roosters and maintains Arouca's unbeaten streak.
Cristo González was in the spotlight, scoring the two goals of the victory. The first happened in the second half, after a long cross from Jason, another Spanish colleague, responding with a placed shot.
Cristo seemed to confirm the victory with a caricature goal, at 82'. He was in the right place at the right time. The goal was still under a long VAR review. A late goal, in stoppage time, by Toure, opened the way for another by Depú, two minutes later.
Arouca has 45 points, safe in sixth place. Gil Vicente is dangerously close to relegation, with 32 points, four more than 16th place.
